The Riva 88′ Florida is a beautiful power yacht that is a great reflection of the yard’s identity thanks to its seamless integration of high performance, Italian beauty, and innovative design. This adaptable, convertible superyacht, which made its debut in the United States at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show in 2017, continues to be in high demand because to her modern exterior appearance and technology developments.

Her aerodynamic, sleek, and sporty outer lines are accentuated by the ‘Shark Gray’ color with black accents, and she measures in at a length of 26.84 meters. Her convertible hardtop is an attractive feature. The revolutionary carbon fiber hardtop, first seen on the Riva 88′ Florida, allows for a smooth transition from open yacht to covered sport coupe at the push of a button. In its closed position, the aerodynamic roof shields the flybridge and helm station, while in its open position it moves in front of the windscreen to form a canopy over the forward dinette.

Officina Italiana Design and the Ferretti Group Naval Engineering Department created the layout for her cockpit, helmstation, master suite on the lower deck, and living spaces. Her ultra-contemporary furnishings are furnished with leather, stainless steel, and white veneer to evoke a “strong Mediterranean joyful and summer attitude.” There are three seats total; two in the forward helm station, next to the sliding hatch leading to the lower deck, and one to the left of the helm station. Behind the captain’s chair is a salon with chairs and a dining room that can accommodate eight people. A sink, grill, and refrigerator make up a wet bar that sits opposite. There is a huge sundeck in the stern with a chaise lounge for relaxing in the sun, and two steps down to her swimming planform. A sun deck and dining area are located forward in the bow for extra lounging room. The c-hardtop can be used to seal off this area when you’re out on the open water, as was explained earlier.

Her dining room and galley are located on the port side of the lower deck. Her VIP stateroom is forward, while her twin guest stateroom is on the port side. Her full-beam master suite is amidships. Two crew members can sleep in the crew quarters that sit in front of the ship’s engine room. The engine room and the crew cabin layout have been carried over from the coupé to further streamline engineering and industrial procedures. Both can be accessed from the pilot’s seat by way of a hidden storage area in the left sofa. The boat’s twin VMan V12 engines allow her to reach a maximum speed of 37 knots and a comfortable cruising speed of 32 knots.
